Slindile Moya

"My name is Slindile Moya. I am a girl and I was born on the 18th of April 1991. I am in the film and the film is about my story. It tells people what is happening in South Africa. I stay at Agape with some children who are also have no parents like me. We are singing together. I have been staying at Agape for eight years since I have lost my parents. I am 16 years old and I like singing and helping people. I also like meeting people. When I am older I want to be a nurse so I can help people. I am working very hard so I can achieve my goals. Slindile is the main character in the film. She is an incredible young lady with a wonderful smile. No matter how she is feeling, she will always give you a smile and we admire her so much for that. It has been over 3 years since we began filming with Slindile. Over that time she has grown and matured so much. She set goals for herself, such as improving her English, that we now see her achieving. When reading her blog it is clear that her countless hours of studying an English dictionary have paid off. She is a determined girl with aspirations that we know she will achieve.
