With Bono, Alicia, Iman & the Children of Agape!

We Are Together had its grand North American Premiere at the Tribeca film festival last night and it was truly a night to remember. Special Guests Bono, Alicia Keys and Iman turned out to support the children and their film. The kids donned the red carpet with the stars and soaked up the attention from the press. The film stirred a lively audience who gave the children a raptuous standing ovation.
"You see they sing their stories, and that's what's incredible, you know,” said Bono. “They sing themselves out of sorrow. There's a very joyful feeling through the film, and that is the musicality really, maybe that's why the two of us think it's such an incredible piece of work."
The excitement spilled over into the afterparty, kindly hosted by "Keep A Child Alive" where guests were treated to a special performance by the children.
The evening was truly an event to remember and Slindile wrote "I felt so proud of the children of Agape and I was so excited when I see lots of people watching the film. That evening proved in life there is nothing impossible. That evening is the best day that I will never forget." (For more of Slindile's thoughts visit her blog)
